The classic 2.55 Chanel flap features a back pocket, and interior "double" flap with a compartment behind the flap, a zipper compartment on the side. The double woven signature Chanel chain can be worn as a single or double strap. Due to the length of this model's shoulder chain strap, we recommend it be carried as a single strap - the mannequin photo shows the bag being worn both ways.
This item is in good condition with some signs of normal use. The bag is an older vintage flap, and has been professionally refurbished by Chanel. Therefore, while the exterior and interior are clean, some of the leather have a firmer hand. The interior has also been refurbished, and the hologram sticker is therefore no longer intact, although the CHANEL and MADE IN FRANCE stampings remain. Hardware, including button snaps and zipper pulls, are indicative of an earlier generation medium double flap. Hardware is shiny and not discolored or faded on the chain or front turnlock; however the back of the CC turnlock (underneath the flap inside the bag) show signs of discoloration. Any hardware discoloration is not viewable on the outside. Note: Chanel no longer uses 24k gold to plate their golden hardware as they did with this model. Please see photos for details.
